Biography
A young electric guitarist, Franki began studying Hard Rock, Jazz Fusion, and Funk in the early 1990s at the CMCN music school (now Music Academy International Nancy).
During this period, after attending a monumental masterclass by Biréli Lagrène on bass, he was completely captivated and started learning to play the Jazz Bass alongside the guitar. As a fan of drums, he also took the opportunity to study that instrument.
In the 2000s, he made the leap into Gypsy Jazz, learning the old-fashioned way by immersing himself in the world of Django Reinhardt.
Collaborating both on stage and in the studio with numerous bands in various styles, he also shares his passion by teaching music.
Recently, he created his own YouTube channel to help as many people as possible practice the demanding style of Gypsy Jazz with simplicity and humor.
