Biography

Musician, guitarist and contrabass player - decorated of the National Conservatory of Grenoble - he manages the quintet Nuages ​​de Swing (one of the few orchestras to take over the most jazz formula of Django Reinhardt, namely the 2nd Quintet of the Hot Club Of France with clarinet and drums and with the guitar sound amplified by the famous Stimer), occurs on numerous occasions and meet some of famous musicians such as Angelo Debarre, Tchavolo Schmitt, Florin Niculescu, Mandino Reinhardt, David Reinhardt, Sébastien Giniaux , David Reinhardt, Christophe Lartilleux ... Laurent is a lover of the music of Django and according to Alain Antonietto, author of numerous articles and books on the brilliant Manouche, he is "one of the few gadje to have felt the irrepressible melancholy of the musical universe of Django. "

Beyond the technical virtuosity of the "master", it is the vitality and depth of his game that touches him.

Its program entitled  “A la Santé de Django” which has existed since 2005 is very well attended in Grenoble.
