Juan El Flaco (Juan Rodríguez) is a passionate and virtuosic flamenco guitarist, born on August 14, 1973, into a gypsy family: "Marianos y Bolecos," with family roots in Almería and León, two regions that have shaped his love for flamenco music since childhood. Juan El Flaco is considered one of the most promising artists on the current flamenco scene.

His career took off in October 2014 with the release of his first album, "Suena Flamenco", a work that allowed him to showcase his unique style, blending the tradition of flamenco with a modern vision. This album included prestigious collaborations, such as with the legendary guitarist Tomatito. Since the release of Suena Flamenco, it opened the doors to an international tour, taking his music to countries like France, Spain, Germany, Hungary, Italy, and Switzerland, where he received great acclaim. Juan El Flaco is sponsored by Savarez guitar strings and also owns guitars of the Juan El Flaco model, crafted by luthier Antonio Pisa.

Currently, Juan El Flaco is preparing to release his second album, "My Way", in March 2025 with the record label La Voz Del Flamenco (Seville) and Pedro Sierra. This project promises to be even more surprising and enriched with new collaborations with renowned artists. Among the guests are Maestro Duquende, the talented Nasrine Rahmani, and emerging artists such as Piraña, Kiki Cortiñas, Simón Román, Josue Ronkio, and Antonio del Flaco. Juan El Flaco is also collaborating with Maestro Diego Amador for the mixing and mastering of the album. This second album delves deep into the essence of flamenco while incorporating new nuances and contemporary sounds, offering a unique sonic experience that stands out for its innovation and passion.

The album also includes a tribute to Maestro Paco de Lucía, with a cover designed by his close friend Thierry Tijeras, which provides a unique visual perspective, complementing the energy and emotion of the music.

With this new project, Juan El Flaco continues his journey of taking flamenco to new horizons, captivating audiences with his mastery of the guitar and his ability to reinvent the genre while respecting its deepest roots.
