The ferocity of the gaunt, hungry wolf… LeanWolf has found his spirit animal. On a debut EP released in 2021, the young guitar hero with impressive fluidity made the legacy of the electric blues masters (Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore) his own, stamping it with his unique signature and his wild, distinctive touch.

With Limbo, recorded at Mirador Sound Studio in Corconne, LeanWolf aims for a more organic, more live approach, but above all, one that opens up to broader aesthetic horizons (soul, rock, jazz), echoing the vast open spaces evoked by his songs, in the iconoclastic wake of artists like Marcus King and the Tedeschi Trucks Band.

By multiplying the cracks in the blues framework, LeanWolf brings to light the full spectrum of his emotions and reveals a songwriting of great depth. Above all, he establishes himself as a remarkably expressive singer, with a voice brimming with soul, freed from the need to hide behind a guitar virtuosity he no longer needs to prove.
