Biography
Valère Coignet is a French guitarist whose style spans progressive metal, modern guitar, and cinematic soundscapes. A guitarist for nearly twenty years, he has developed an expressive and technically skilled playing style, particularly on 7-string guitars and in immersive orchestrations.
In 2019, he released his first EP, *Just a Step Away*, an instrumental project blending progressive metal, modern riffs, and orchestral textures. He also contributed to a United Guitars album, alternating solos with Nick Johnston and Max Ostro.
As an educator, Valère has regularly contributed to the instructional section of Guitare Xtreme Magazine and served as the second guitarist for The Electric Barock Quartet alongside Alex Cordo.
Today, he continues his work through masterclasses, showcases, and specialized content focused on modern guitar playing.
