Biography

Alejandro Riquelme comes from a family of musicians, and began playing guitar at the age of 11, learning his first chords from his grandmother and violinist father.
 
After studying sound engineering at university in Chile, he moved to France, settling in Toulouse in 1997.  
 
His encounters with European and other world music were a revelation to him, and he soon set up his own recording studio to start producing local artists, and gradually larger artists such as Mario Ramsamy from the group Emile et Images, Leon Showman ,Pierre Groscolas ( Lady lay hit ) Serge Lopez and Fabien Ordonez, the father of Bigflo et Oli who became his friend and collaborator on several Latin music productions.
 
Following Bigflo et Oli's success with the song "Papa", he became producer and director of Fabian Ordonez's project "El Padre", with whom he toured on several TV shows: Taratata, Quotidien, TMTP, France 2, as well as numerous radio programs. 
 
Most recently, he collaborated on Bigflo et Oli's latest album, on the song "j'étais pas la", which is also the album's single and was featured in the final of The VOICE as well as "La chanson de l'année".
