Biography

Edouard Dornier is a French professional guitarist born in 1996.

He was 8 years old when he decided to start playing electric guitar after attending a Deep Purple concert. One year after starting the electric guitar, he created Burn the Rubber with his father and his two sisters. The band, initially set up to play AC/DC covers, went on to write and release 2 albums. In 2014, the family band participated in and won the TV show "Ma famille déchire" on Gulli. The following year, the family finished as semi-finalists in the show "La France a un incroyable talent" on M6.

Guitar and music in general being already more than a vocation for Edouard, he joined the Music Academy International (MAI) in Nancy after his secondary studies.

Since 2019, thanks to his versatility and his multi-instrumentalism, Edouard has been working on different projects:
- He is part of the orchestra of the musical "LE ROI LION" at the Mogador theatre where he plays classical and electric guitar, ukulele and kalimba
- He also plays alongside the singer Lilian Renaud, winner of The Voice, and accompanies him on his tour as a guitarist, chorister and percussionist.
- His meeting with François Delacoudre, founder and leader of the band SOHO RIOT, led him to join the band as a singer/guitarist. SOHO RIOT, a seventies rock band built for live performances, released its first E.P in 2020 and its first album Square One in 2022.
