Formed in Orléans in 2022, Les Bâtards du Roi is a melodic black metal band with a medieval theme. Set in a devastated world, this project tells the story of brothers who committed regicide, an act that plunged the kingdom into decadence and torment. From this initial situation, the protagonists embark on a spiritual journey of introspection in a tormented landscape. It is the story of the beginning of their exile.

After a first eponymous album that was very well received by international critics, Les bâtards du roi (melodic black metal from Orléans, France) are back with their second opus, “Les chemins de l'exil,” released on the French label Les acteurs de l'ombre. This new chapter recounts the inevitable exile of the protagonists, which begins with their passage through a menacing forest, the first stage of a long journey into the unknown.

In an extreme metal genre with varied influences, ranging from black to death metal with heavy riffs, the three members of the band continue to blaze the trail for Les bâtards du roi.
