Biography

Kyo is French pop rock band created in 1994. Benoît Poher (sing), Florian Dubos (guitar, choir and sing), Nicolas Chassagne (guitar) and Fabien Dubos (drum), the 4 members, are authors of the hits « Le Chemin », « Dernière danse » and also « Le Graal ».

Friendship and passion for music of 4 secondary school boys lead them to take part in school concerts and perform on stages in Paris suburb. In 1997, they met their manager Yves Michel Aklé as they are performing for a Talent Show. The man was going to make them sign their first contract with Sony.
In 2000, Kyo released his first album « Kyo ». The band reached success thanks to their second album « Le chemin » and the eponym song. One year later, they win 3 Victoires de la musique, 4 awards at NRJ Music Awards, one prize at MTV Europe Music Awards and at World Music Awards. At the end of December 2004, the album « 300 lésions » was out.
Following this album's tour at the beginning of 2007, the musicians were focused on personnal projects and released their 4th album « l’Equilibre » not before 2014.

It's 10 years later, in the late 2017, that Kyo comes back on stage for a new CD recorded with Savarez Hexagonal Explosion strings, Nickel Explosion and Savarez Acoustic.
